Before we head off to New Mexico, Italy, and the rest of our destinations, my family and I get to take a few days off at my grandparents’ lake-house to swim, fish, take boat rides, and do pretty much whatever we want.
My grandparents have a dog named Annie who is 15 human years (105 dog years) which is pretty old. Here is a picture of her.
I know a woman who is about to turn 103 years old. Both of them are still in really good shape and seem to be staying that way. That’s not the only thing that they have in common; they are also both really nice and sweet.
Today my cousin and my aunt are coming to help us drive to New Mexico. In fact, my grandparents are going to get them from the airport as I type! I hope they get here in time for the World Cup semifinals so we can watch it together.
This morning not only did I do my daily planking (which I’m up to 6 minutes on) but I did yoga with my mom. She taught me all kinds of poses like Warrior 1 and Warrior 2.
I’m sure to have all sorts of fun here!
Amazing pictures, Elliot! The water looks so refreshing. I am glad you’re able to enjoy time with family. I look forward to reading more of your blog entries as you continue your travels!

The water is refreshing, especially after it rained yesterday.

I love reading your blog, Elliot! And you have inspired me with planking. Goals can be so energizing. The lake looks beautiful, and Annie has such a sweet expression.

Hi Elliot! It’s your neighbor Laura from down the street. I’m very excited to hear about your travels along the way! Annie is a very cute old lady, I’m sure Lupa would love her. Also I am very impressed with your six minutes of planking that’s crazy!! I can do about 30 seconds before it feels like my abs are going to explode. Keep up the good work! Laura
