On Sunday, my cousin, his parents, my parents, and I went to to Fred Baca Park in Taos, New Mexico. We brought a soccer ball with us. We were walking by the basketball court, heading to the field, when we saw some kids who were shooting hoops. Half of the kids were wearing Argentina soccer jerseys and the other half were wearing Germany jerseys. I guessed they had just finished watching the World Cup final, and I think half of them were sad and half of them were happy! (My prediction that Argentina would win in penalty kicks turned out to be wrong; Germany won in overtime.)
The kids asked us if we were there to play soccer. I responded with a yes and we all ran out onto the field to play⚽️. I had barely been in Taos for 24 hours and I already had new friends👬! Anyway, they were really good soccer players and they never got into disputes about silly topics like whether the ball went out of bounds or not. I had lots of fun.

Actually, only one of my cousins was there and the rest of the kids we just met at the park. And yes, it was very cool!
